The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands is searching for a new Director of Operations and Infrastructure.
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the successful candidate will oversee the Township’s Public Works portfolio, including roads, parks, facilities, fleet maintenance, capital projects, water and wastewater services, municipal drains and waste management.
The director will also provide strategic leadership, manage departmental budgets, oversee asset management planning and ensure municipal operations meet provincial legislation and industry standards.
The Township is looking for an experienced professional with a Professional Engineer designation or Certified Engineering Technologist credentials. Candidates should have significant supervisory experience in public works and environmental services, along with experience managing budgets and working with unionized staff.
