We will be hosting the Athens Fishing Derby again this year. Last year proved to be a busy year with my fiancée and I becoming parents but we are very excited to bring it back for the 2025 year. This year we will be choosing a local charity to donate the money to so please comment below which charity you would like to see the money go to.

The plan is for one of the first two weekends of August. This will be a catch and release style tournament again like last time to avoid licensing issues required by the ministry for a weigh station style tournament.

Valid fishing license will be required for the adult division this year as it unfortunately will not fall on a free fishing weekend
